At the annual Anniversary Meeting of the Huguenot Society of South Carolina, held April 13th, 1889, a resolution was adopted to prepare for publication and distribution to members the proceedings of the Society containing some account of the origin of the Society, and such proceedings deemed of interest to the members. This publication quickly became what is now one of the most extensive studies of the Huguenots, their families, influence on cultural, political, economic, and religious developments in the colonies and then the United States.

The collection of volumes contains scholarly work of interest to researchers, authors, screenwriters, play writes, artists, genealogists, theologians, chefs and more. So many topics are studied and there is sure to be something of interest for everyone.
