Thanksgiving Day, 2015

As we  sit down to a Thanksgiving Meal today, let's include in our gratitudes our French Protestant (Huguenot) ancestors who sacrificed so much for us. They left their families, friends, homes and country to find religious freedom more than 300 years ago, escaping torture, persecution and death in their search. As we remember these early immigrants and refugees to "the land of the free and the home of the brave," let us not forget the ideals of faith, family and freedom which they held dear and pass on their legacy to others in need.
